Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Tsavo East national park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
DAY 1.
Drive towards Nairobi and enter the park (Tsavo National Park), the park is divided into two Tsavo East and Tsavo West by the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. This park is known for its red Elephants so called because of the red soil that colour their hides.
Game viewing en route your lodge for lunch and afternoon siesta waiting for evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the same lodge.
DAY2.
Early morning game drive and then drive back for breakfast. After breakfast drive through the wilderness to Tsavo West for check in and lunch then relax at your pleasure waiting for the afternoon game drive.
DAY3.
Depart after breakfast and drive with game en route to the gate for your journey back to Mombasa.
